How do I refer a young person?

Please fill in a Program Expression Of Interest which can be found on the Get in Touch section on the website, please select Program EOI

How can I make a donation to BackTrack?

Please go to the Donations page on our website or send us an email to enquiries@backtrack.org.au and we will send you our bank details.

I’m interested in employment or volunteering with BackTrack?

We currently do not have any positions available however would love to know more about you and to keep your details on file for the future. Please send your resume and an outline of your interest to enquiries@backtrack.org.au

What age do you need to be to attend BackTrack?

There is no set rule but typically our kids are aged between 13 and 17.

Each referral is assessed individually based on the circumstances and needs of the young person.

I want to refer a young person to a specific program i.e. AgLads or PawsUp?

It is not possible to join just one program as a driving factor of the success at BackTrack is the interconnected role that all our programs have. It is however possible to attend on a part-time basis (i.e. 2 days per week).

Do you need more dogs?

Thank you, but no! 20 something dogs is enough mouths to feed and paws to control.

Can girls attend BackTrack?

Yes, girls can attend BackTrack and we currently support a small group on Tuesday’s and Wednesdays.

We currently do not have a residential program offering for girls.

Do you have accommodation?

We do have a residential facility which is currently operating at capacity.

Plans are in place to increase the number of beds, so we can offer more places to young people from outside the Armidale region.

Where is BackTrack?

BackTrack operates in Armidale NSW

How much does it cost to attend BackTrack?

Each referral is assessed individually based on the circumstances and needs of the young person.

What is BackTrack Works?

BackTrack Works is our employment social enterprise. Building upon the skills gained under AgLads and Iron Man Welders, we support our young people as they work on into real commercial jobs, under real work conditions.

What is BackTrack Everywhere?

BackTrack Everywhere is our community mentoring program where we support other communities to adopt a BackTrack style youth program in their region.

Does BackTrack have DGR status (able to offer tax deductible receipts)?

Yes. We are registered with the ACNC and have DGR 1 status meaning donations over $2 are tax deductible.
