Please be aware that our residential program is at full capacity. We are therefore only able to provide positions for young people to attend our day programs and who have a place to stay in Armidale. The wait list of accommodation placements is currently very long and we are unable to provide an estimated time as to when a placement may become available.

Please be aware that we do receive a large number of requests to volunteer and are unable to accommodate many requests. It is important to us to maintain continuity of service delivery and connection to role models for our young people so we do try to avoid too many faces coming in and out of the program.

There is no set rule but typically our kids are aged between 13 and 17.

Each referral is assessed individually based on the circumstances and needs of the young person.

It is not possible to join just one program as a driving factor of the success at BackTrack is the interconnected role that all our programs have. It is however possible to attend on a part-time basis (i.e. 2 days per week).

Yes, girls can attend BackTrack and participate in all activities alongside the boys.

BT Works is our employment social enterprise. Building upon the skills gained under AgLads and Iron Man Welders, we support our young people as they work on into real commercial jobs, under real work conditions.
